DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) is an Always-On Connection, typically 5 TO 25 TIMES FASTER than typical 56 kb dial-up connections, which means web sites load quickly, e-mail attachments download faster, audio and video streams smoothly, and online games are seamless.

DSL can also improve office productivity, and sometimes lower your office costs. Your employees will be more productive by not needing to wait for a dial-up connection to establish, so they can send emails, download documents, or access important online information quickly. If you have an office setting that uses multiple telephone lines and dial-up connections for each person, you can combine these services, eliminate extra phone lines and dial-up connections, and save money in the process.

Normal DSL service is provided over your existing phone line, and allows you to be online and talk over the phone at the same time, all from the same phone line. Keep in mind not every line is capable of handling DSL service, as you must be close enough to your telephone company's central office. There are two parts to any DSL line, the DSL compatible phone service provided by your phone company, and the actual DSL high speed internet access provided by PROFIREFIGHTER.COM. Both the phone service and Internet access service portions of your DSL service are flat monthly rate, so you'll always know what your bill will be from month to month.

DSL services are currently available in Oregon and Washington, in areas where DSL service is possible. Other areas around the country will follow as the demand arises. Our DSL services are available to Qwest and Verizon home, small office, and business telephone customers.

The first step is to check your phone line location to make sure your area qualifies for service because not all areas are possible for DSL service. Use our DSL Registration Form to submit your phone line for checking. Once you submit your information, we will check your line for availability and contact you immediately. At that point, if your telephone line qualifies for service, we can place your DSL order immediately.

If you currently have DSL service through a Qwest or Verizon phone line, and depending on your commitments with your current ISP, you can switch to our services and save money in the process.
